Hugh and Viki Spencer have been involved in agriculture for their entire lives— Viki began by growing up on her family ranch in Montana and Hugh has been raising chickens since he was 8 years old and learning the in-and-outs of the business on his family’s poultry farm.  Together, Hugh and Vicki ran a successful hackle business in Plains, Montana that produced chicken feathers for fly tying.  They’ve recently transitioned into full time egg production.  Spencer’s Valley View eggs come from cage free, free ranging Red Island Red chickens, which are known for their friendly disposition and flavorful eggs.  The chickens are fed a 100% vegetarian diet and are free of antibiotics, stimulants, steroids and hormones.
