Foothill Farm

St. Ignatius, Montana

Foothill Farm, run by farmer Julie Pavlock, is a diversified, multi-generational operation located in the Mission valley. They produce vegetables, seed garlic and grass-finished beef, and specialize in tomatoes, squash, garlic and herbs. Most of the farm’s products are sold through the Western Montana Growers Cooperative.

The farm is certified organic by the Montana Department of Agriculture and they implement composting, crop rotation, cover cropping, rotational grazing and other sustainable practices. One of the most important parts of their farm is the livestock that is integrated into the system. Foothill Farm loves growing delicious, healthy food for the local community and working with its crew of family and interns.
