Wholesale Produce Availability — May 10-16, 2024

Available this week (May 10-16th, 2024):

  • Asparagus has arrived!

  • Salad mix

  • Spring mix

  • Early spring mix

  • Spicy salad mix

  • Spinach/lettuce 50/50 mix

  • Salad turnips and broccoli rabe

  • Chives, mint, arugula, and spinach continue their popularity!

  • Red beets, parsnips, and sunchokes are still available from several farms.


Farm Report: 4/26

Harlequin Produce, Arlee
This farm will be offering spring mix, arugula, bok choy, and radishes. They are also still offering red beets! 

Fairhaven Colony, Ulm
This farm is located on the east side of Rockies, and will often have the first crops of the year grown outdoors. Spring radishes are looking good so far. Warm weather over the next two weeks will boost availability soon!

Five Fox Farms, Moiese
Asparagus is here!! Also look for spring radishes and baby bok choy. Leaf lettuces will be in another week or so!

Ploughshare Farms, Moiese
Has a great selection of parsnips and sunchokes. Have you ever had a sunchoke chip? Grab a bag today. We will have them through mid-May.

Last Best Organics, Missoula
Salad mix, 50/50, arugula and spring mix has arrived!! Clamshells are now ready to be delivered. Early season spring mix and cooking spinach in a 3# bulk is a new addition this week. We will have bulk spinach in 3# and a variety of clamshells. Microgreens are growing and available every week. They offer pea, radish and a sweet salad.

County Rail Farms, Huson 
This amazing farm is producing some great microgreens that are now available. Pea, sunflower, and radish are the current flavors available. These come in a very attractive clamshell or in bulk. Coming in May, arugula!!

Lowdown Farm, Moiese
Chives, chives blossoms, mint, and asparagus will be available this week. 

Coyote Smile Farm, Moiese 
Cilantro, little gem mixed lettuces, and salad turnips are now ready for your store shelves or your restaurant menu. 

Wild Plum Farms, Dixon
This long time co-op member will start producing in May with all the herbs you may need this coming summer: mint, tarragon and oregano starting in May, followed by sage and savory in June. 

Foothill Farms, St. Ignatius
Romaine, green leaf, red leaf, and beets are growing and will be ready mid-May. 

Fat Pika Farms, Moise
Will have a limited amount of specialty peppers sometime in mid-June. This farm specializes in peppers. The sweet peppers coming this season will be Violet Sparkle, Candy Cane Chocolate Cherry, Fresh Bite Orange, and many more. The farm also growers spicy peppers for you brave souls; they will have Baron Poblano, Gabi Hot Wax, Pumpkin Spice Jalapeno, Habanero, Aji Mango, Purple Kraken and many more!! They will also have a limited supply of asparagus coming soon. 

Sweet Root Farms, Hamilton
Fresh lettuces and greens are here: spring mix, radishes, spicy salad mix, salad mix, and arugula. This farm grows amazing produce and we are looking to selling their products this coming season. They will also have spinach soon!!

Swift Current Farms, Stevensville
They currently have Blue oyster, Lions Mane and now Black Pearl. These mushrooms are picked the day of your order. They ship well and look great in the stores. We have a limited supply currently, so get your order in early. P.S. Small retail packs will be ready to go by June!!

Rocky Mountain Produce, Augusta
Rocky Mountain is located on the eastern front of Montana. This farm will produce a lot of our cauliflower, bunched beets, radishes, and kohlrabi in the height of the season. Plus, they have the best pickling cucumbers in summer.

Greenblade Farm, St. Ignatius 
They will be starting up this coming week with some lovage and chives.
